The M&T Bank Stadium is not only known as the home field of the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL, this is also a multi-purpose arena hosting concerts, music and other special events. It can accommodate more than 71,000 spectators. Bands and music artists such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Blink-182, The Offspring, Billy Idol, Coldplay and Goo Goo Dolls have performed here. Metallica and U2 are the iconic bands that fill the stadium during the concerts in where more than 75,000 audiences watched and rocked with them. The 1st Mariner Arena can accommodate 13,650 seats if used in concerts and musical events. The arena was opened to the public in 1962 and owned by the city government of Baltimore and operated by SMG.
