Denver Broncos Tickets

The Denver Broncos are a professional American football team from the West Division of the American Football Conference in the National Football League that is based in Denver, Colorado. The Broncos was founded in 1960 initially as a charter member of the American Football League. They joined the NFL during the AFL-NFL in 1970. The Denver Broncos is known to be a successful franchise with two Super Bowl championship and six AFC Championships. It has the least number of losing seasons only having six losing seasons since its first Super Bowl Appearance 35 years ago. The home stadium of the Denver Broncos is at the Sports Authority Field at Mile High. In the Pro Football Hall of Fame, four players came from the Denver Broncos namely Gary Zimmerman, Shannon Sharpe, John Elway and Floyd Little.

The Denver Broncos was founded when Bob Howsman, a minor league baseball owner, was awarded a charter franchise by the American Football League in August 1959. During the 1960s, the Broncos were not yet successful with a record of 39-97-4 during the league. In 1965, Denver Broncos was about to lose its franchise. Fortunately a local ownership group saved and rebuilt the team. Floyd Little, one of Denver’s first superstar, played an important role in keeping their franchise. In 1972, the Broncos hired John Ralston as head coach and he led the team to three winning seasons but eventually was dismissed by the team owner. In 1983, John Elway from Stanford was acquired by the Denver Broncos. He became a primary instrument in the victories of the Broncos. By 1997, he was named as Super Bowl MVP.
