During this time, the White Sox were known as the “The Hitless Wonders” because of their defense strategy. After they loss their prime players, the White Sox experienced their lean years without any major achievement in the League. In 1959, they were able to come back as they compete I the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers who won their first World Series Championship since moving. The following years were mediocre until 2005 when they won once again the World Series Championships and defeated the Houston Astros who were then the National League Champion. The following years, the White Sox failed to reach the Championships. They are currently working their way back as they made a perfect game in the 2012 season and the 21st perfect game in the history of Major League Baseball.
